Good deals can still to be found if you get your name on all the CT70 web site message boards. I just picked up these two four speed models for $300.00 each plus shipping. Now I have one of all three colors for 1971 four speeds. The 1971 and 1972 four speeds are my favorite not only because that's what I had as a kid but, because they are the rarest CT70 of them all. |

This guy built some simple 2X4 wooden crates and took them to www.forwardair.com . They arrived three days later and cost $150.00 to ship from Texas. You can't beat Forward Air for price and service. |

My friends Tim Wolfe and Jr. Chapa both had these orange 4 speed bikes in Ohio when we were kids. I called Jr. and asked him if wanted to come down to Florida and take another trail on the CT70's and he said yes. I'll take pictures and post on the site when he gets here. |

The red 1972 came with 3000 original miles and the orange 1971 came with 2000 original miles. The orange one started right up and drove like new. The 1972 needs a carb cleaning and I'm sure it will too start right up. |

These poor bikes were left outside to rust up a little but, still a bargain at $300.00 each. Should be a very easy restoration which will start next year for both bikes. I want to ride them a little before restoring them. Looking at them is fun but, riding them is even more fun. It's like I tell people, YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT MUCH FUN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD FOR THE 99 CENTS IT COST TO FILL IT UP. |
